Galatasaray have renewed their interest in Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga and are preparing a loan proposal for the French international ahead of the January transfer window.
The Turkish giants are keen to bring Camavinga to Istanbul for the second half of the season and are expected to approach Real Madrid about a potential loan deal once the January transfer window opens.
According to AS and Turkish outlet Fanatik, Galatasaray have revived their pursuit of the 23-year-old after previously attempting to sign him during the summer transfer window. However, their efforts were unsuccessful, with Camavinga unwilling to leave Spanish football at the time.
Camavinga remains under contract with Real Madrid until June 2029. While the Spanish giants had previously considered the possibility of a permanent transfer worth around €60 million, the midfielder has remained part of Jose Mourinho’s plans this season.
The Real Madrid boss has included Camavinga in his squad rotation, giving him opportunities both from the start and off the bench.
Galatasaray are now preparing to submit an official loan proposal to Real Madrid before the winter transfer window opens. However, the Turkish club are fully aware that Camavinga’s own decision could prove crucial to the success of any potential move.
Real Madrid, for their part, have no intention of forcing the French midfielder to leave. The final decision will ultimately be left to Camavinga, who currently does not consider changing clubs midway through the season to be a priority.
Galatasaray representatives are expected to hold talks with Camavinga’s representatives in November 2026 in an attempt to convince the midfielder to make the move to Istanbul.
The Turkish club could therefore face a difficult battle to persuade both the player and Real Madrid, but their interest in Camavinga remains strong as they look to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.
