Real Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for the transfer of Ivorian winger Yan Diomande in a deal worth more than €100 million.
The 19-year-old has also agreed to personal terms with the Spanish giants and is expected to sign a five-year contract that will keep him at the club until June 2031.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news, revealing that the agreement between the two clubs has been finalized.
“EXCLUSIVE: YAN DIOMANDE TO REAL MADRID, HERE WE GO! The deal was completed tonight with RB Leipzig for a fee exceeding €100 million for the Ivorian winger,” Romano wrote on social media.
Diomande is expected to travel to Madrid later this week to undergo his medical examinations before completing the final formalities and officially signing his contract with Real Madrid.
Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain were also interested in signing Diomande, but neither club was willing to pay more than €100 million for the highly rated young star.
PSG even stated in a comment to Sky DE that they withdrew from the race because they did not want to compromise the club’s financial principles, which they consider a top priority.
Diomande joined RB Leipzig from Leganés in the summer of 2025 for a transfer fee of €20 million.
During the 2025–26 season, Diomande enjoyed an outstanding campaign, scoring 15 goals and providing 11 assists across all competitions for Leipzig.
