Ronaldo Sets Another World Cup Record

Cristiano Ronaldo became the oldest player ever to appear in a FIFA World Cup match, adding yet another remarkable milestone to his extraordinary career.

However, the evening did not end the way the Portuguese superstar had hoped, as Portugal was held to a 1-1 draw by Congo.

The 41-year-old looked frustrated and disappointed throughout the match, as Portugal, despite boasting a star-studded squad, failed to earn more than a single point against an opponent making its return to the world stage after a 52-year absence.

“Not the start we wanted, but this is far from the end. Heads up,” Ronaldo wrote.

Ronaldo also openly expressed his disappointment through his social media accounts following the match.
