Arsenal Aim for Victory Against Everton

Arsenal will face Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday in the Premier League, aiming to continue their push for the top of the table and maintain the pressure on Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta’s side have won six of their first seven league matches, while also demonstrating impressive defensive consistency.

The Gunners have conceded fewer goals than any other team in the league and have also allowed the fewest shots on target.

Arsenal are three points behind league leaders Manchester City and will be determined to prevent their rivals from extending their advantage in the title race.

However, Arteta will be without several key players for this encounter. William Saliba, who is struggling with a back problem, and Bukayo Saka, who has a thigh injury, are expected to remain sidelined. Christos Tzolis is also among the players listed as injured, with a hamstring problem.

Meanwhile, Everton will travel to London with a fully fit squad, providing a welcome boost for manager David Moyes. His side suffered their first league defeat last week against Chelsea and will be looking to return to winning ways and remain in the upper half of the table.

The statistics are not in the visitors’ favour. Everton have yet to win away from home in their first three away matches this season, recording three draws. Furthermore, the Merseyside club have managed just one victory in their last 30 visits to Arsenal.

Arsenal won both meetings with Everton last season, securing a 1-0 victory away from home before claiming a 2-0 win at the Emirates. In addition, the Gunners are unbeaten in their last seven matches against Everton.

Predicted Line-ups

Arsenal: Raya, Timber, Konsa, Gabriel, Calafiori, Guimaraes, Rice, Eze, Odegaard, Madueke, Havertz.

Everton: Pickford, Maitland-Niles, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Armstrong, Garner, Röhl, Dewsbury-Hall, Grealish, Barry.
