Viktor Gyokeres is seriously considering the possibility of leaving Arsenal during the January transfer window.
According to TEAMtalk, the Swedish striker is unhappy with his limited playing time under Mikel Arteta, having yet to start a single Premier League match this season.
Another source of concern for the forward is Arsenal’s continued interest in Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez. A potential move for the Argentine could further limit Gyokeres’ opportunities in the squad.
Atletico Madrid are among the clubs interested in signing Gyokeres, while the Swedish striker is also considering other options in England, Italy and Germany. According to the report, Arsenal could be willing to let him leave if they receive a suitable offer.
Gyokeres joined Arsenal from Sporting CP in 2025 and scored 21 goals in his first season with the London club. However, his limited playing time this campaign has raised questions about his future at the Emirates Stadium.
It remains to be seen whether the 28-year-old striker will leave in January and whether Atletico Madrid will take concrete steps to secure his signature.
