Jorge Jesus has confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo could return to the Portugal national team for the next international break, suggesting that the dispute between the two has now been put behind them.
Following Portugal’s 2-1 victory over Norway in the Nations League, the Portuguese coach was asked about the situation involving the Al Nassr star.
Ronaldo had attracted attention in recent days after leaving the Portugal camp following a disagreement with Jesus over his lack of playing time in the first match against Norway.
However, Jesus has now made it clear that the door to the national team remains open for the 41-year-old superstar.

“Cristiano Ronaldo will be called up for the next international break if he wants to return.”
“It is his decision. I am ready to call him up if he wants to play for Al Nassr,” the Portuguese coach added.
As a result, Ronaldo’s return to the Portugal national team now depends on the player himself, while Jesus has signaled that their dispute has been left behind.
