Kai Havertz has suffered a thigh injury during Germany’s match against the Netherlands and is expected to leave the national team camp.
The Arsenal forward was forced to leave the pitch due to a muscular problem, while after the match, Germany manager Jürgen Klopp confirmed that Havertz and Jamal Musiala would undergo MRI scans.
“Both of them are currently undergoing MRI scans. I hope we get the diagnosis tonight. Of course, this is not good news. I hope it is nothing serious,” Klopp said after the match.
According to reports from The Athletic, Havertz is expected to leave the Germany camp and return to London, where he will undergo further assessments by Arsenal’s medical staff.
The injury has caused concern at the Gunners, as Havertz missed part of the 2025/26 season due to a knee injury that required surgery. He had also previously undergone surgery for a serious hamstring injury.
Arsenal will return to action on October 10, when they face Leeds, giving Havertz around two weeks to recover, depending on the severity of the injury.
The London club is expected to provide further details following the examinations and assessment of the German forward’s condition.
