Arsenal midfielder Bruno Guimaraes taunted Sunderland fans after the Gunners secured a 2-0 victory in the fourth week of the Premier League.
The Brazilian posted a message on social media, sarcastically addressing a section of Sunderland supporters.
“They know who they are. The fat rat wishes you a great weekend,” Guimaraes wrote.
The midfielder knows the rivalry between Sunderland and Newcastle United very well, having spent four years playing for the club from St James’ Park.
The two teams share a fierce and historic rivalry known as the Tyne-Wear Derby, while clashes between their supporters are among the most intense in English football.
Guimaraes, who is now an Arsenal player, used this rivalry to take a swipe at Sunderland fans following the match.

Furthermore, the Brazilian scored his first goal in an Arsenal shirt against Sunderland, making the evening even more special for him.
Guimaraes has signed a four-year contract with the London club. Last season, he made 41 appearances, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists.
