Lamine Yamal has spoken about his ambitions to win the Ballon d’Or, as the Barcelona forward continues to establish himself as one of the best players in the world.
The 19-year-old is among the nominees for this year’s prestigious award after another impressive season, with his performances for Barcelona putting him firmly in the spotlight.
Yamal has previously made no secret of his desire to win the Ballon d’Or, but he insists that his focus remains on developing as a player and helping his team.
“I’m not going to start begging for anything. If it comes, I’ll be grateful, especially to my teammates, both at club and international level,” Yamal said.
