Brahim Diaz has emerged as a transfer target for three major Italian clubs — AC Milan, Juventus and Roma — who are monitoring his situation at Real Madrid ahead of the next transfer window.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, all three Italian clubs are closely following the situation of the Moroccan international, whose contract with Real Madrid runs until June 2027.
However, no agreement has been reached so far over a contract extension.
Milan Want Brahim Diaz Back
AC Milan are the club showing the most interest in convincing Brahim Diaz to return to San Siro.
The 27-year-old played for Milan on loan from 2020 to 2023, making 124 official appearances for the Rossoneri.
Milan’s management are hoping to take advantage of the player’s situation and sign him without paying a transfer fee to Real Madrid if the two parties fail to reach an agreement over a contract extension.
However, Brahim Diaz has yet to make a final decision regarding his future.
Juventus and Roma Enter the Race
Juventus and Roma are also in the race for the attacking midfielder, with both clubs having already held informal contacts with the player’s representatives to learn more about his demands.
A key moment in this story will come at the beginning of 2027. If Real Madrid fail to renew his contract by January 1, 2027, Brahim Diaz will be free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with another club, allowing him to join as a free agent in the summer of 2027.
According to reports, Brahim Diaz’s representatives are expected to hold a meeting with Real Madrid officials during the October 2026 international break, when the first steps regarding the player’s future could be taken.
If no agreement over a contract renewal is reached by the end of the year, Milan, Juventus and Roma are expected to intensify their efforts to convince Brahim Diaz, with the aim of signing him on a free transfer.
