Manchester City are unlikely to settle for just domestic trophies, with Nico O’Reilly revealing his ambitions to win all four major trophies in the new season.
The 21-year-old, who broke through in 2024 before becoming a regular starter for both club and country last season, has already won a Carabao Cup and an FA Cup during the 2025/26 campaign.
Asked by Adebayo Akinfenwa to name his goals, O’Reilly did not hold back: “I’ve got a few. The Premier League. The Champions League. The Carabao Cup again. The FA Cup again.”
O’Reilly’s biggest moment came in the 2024 Community Shield against Manchester United, where he started under Pep Guardiola before City went on to win the match on penalties.
Looking back, he admitted that he was nervous, but said he would tell his younger self to “play with enjoyment, go out there and enjoy it.”
The academy graduate has scored 14 goals in all competitions during his career so far, including a match-winning brace in the victory over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final in March 2026.
