AC Milan Officially Sign Nottingham Forest Player for €44 Million

AC Milan have officially announced the signing of Omari Hutchinson from Nottingham Forest, initially on loan for a fee of €4 million, with an option to buy that could become an obligation for a further €40 million.

The player arrived for his medical tests over the weekend and has now signed his contract with the Italian club.

In their official announcement, AC Milan stated: “AC Milan announce today the temporary transfer of Omari Elijah Giraud-Hutchinson from Nottingham Forest FC, with an option to make the transfer permanent. The loan agreement is valid until June 30, 2027.”

According to various sources, including Sky Sport Italia and Goal.com, the one-year loan will cost Milan €4 million, with the fee going directly to Nottingham Forest.

If Milan decide to activate the purchase option at the end of the season, they will pay a further €40 million.

Following the permanent transfer, Hutchinson could sign a three-year contract with Milan, keeping him at San Siro until June 2030.

Hutchinson will wear the No. 20 shirt for Milan this season.

The 22-year-old has been part of the youth academies at Chelsea and Arsenal, while during his development as a footballer he also played for Ipswich Town and Suffolk, before joining Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2025.
