Who will reach the semifinals? The “Opta” supercomputer predicts the two Champions League finalists

Who will make it to the grand final of the Champions League?

According to the latest analysis from Opta’s supercomputer, the answer clearly leans toward Bayern Munich and Arsenal—two teams that, based on statistical simulations, have the highest chances of reaching the final stage of the tournament.

Opta’s model is based on thousands of simulations of the competition, taking into account teams’ current form, individual and collective statistics, as well as the strength of their opponents.

It’s a system that doesn’t offer absolute certainty, but provides a clear picture of the real probabilities for each team.

According to these projections, Bayern Munich is one of the most favored teams to overcome PSG in the semifinal and continue their path to the final.

The Bavarians have shown stability and strength throughout the European season, confirming themselves as one of the main contenders for the trophy.

Bayern has a 61.28% chance of reaching the final, compared to 38.72% for the Parisians.

On the other hand, Arsenal also ranks very high on the list of favorites.

The London side, which has impressed with its tactical organization and defensive stability, is seen by Opta as one of the teams with the greatest chances of reaching the final—and even winning the Champions League trophy.

“The Gunners” are given a 73.40% chance of making the final, while “Los Colchoneros” have 26.60%.

A scenario that, according to the simulations, most often leads to a final between Bayern Munich and Arsenal—considered the most likely final of this edition.
